![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() "'Crowz' refers to a saying started which started following a spooky incident when we where taking Paul home after a studio session, and the road his place was on was covered entirely with crows, or blackbirds, or whatever. The album was never released however, as the recorded material was scrapped and a five-track demo was soon recorded, this being the demo that the band was signed to Roadrunner Records for. Crowz featured songs with current vocalist Corey Taylor, as well as former vocalist Anders Colsefini and former guitarists and drummer Donnie Steele, Josh Brainard and Marshall Parker respectively Crowz also features input by particular members of the current line-up. Originally to be released on October 31, 1997, the album stood as a "re-recording replacement" of the songs recorded and released a year prior on the band's 1996 debut. Crowz was the would-be second album released by American band Slipknot. ![]()
